The name Förestå is derived from the Swedish word förstå which means to understand. Förestå strives to understand the needs of her members and is always open to deepening the understanding and adjusting in order to satisfy the member’s needs. In Swedish Förestå means to lead, Förestå aims to lead positive change in the co-living world. Another meaning of the word is to manage, Förestå manages the interests of all the parties involved.
The brand was founded with the aim to deliver both landlords and tenants a transformed experience.
